Andreas Rex

Andreas came to us from war
In Holy Lands on distant shore;
When our homes were safe and free
He left the war across the sea.

His sword was keen, his helm was bright;
He captained our unbelted fight.
He lead young heroes to the field
Where we fought hard and would not yield.

He earned his tygers and his spurs.
Men swore to him and called him sir.
Grim faced lords of the battle yard,
Became his sword band called Blood Guard

An heir was needed for the throne:
The Falcon's sword above all shone.
He won the field and coronet
For Isabella, who rules yet.

Now war has come and he's away;
We pray for his return one day.
To keep our homeland safe and free,
He's back to war across the sea.
